Apple nerds unable to sleep at night

Apple Computer has been fanning the flames about rumors concerning MacWorld Expo, which kicks off January 7.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs is giving the keynote address on January 7 at 9 a.m. pacific time. Jobs typically uses this time to annouce new Apple products. And while Apple normally makes no comment on products not yet annouced or even dicuss whether or not any products WILL be annouced, Apple has been teasing its fans on its web page.

Every day since December 31, Apple has been posting “teasers” about MacWorld on its homepage. MacComedy has gone through the long, difficult task of listing those teasters, both the ones that have been used and the ones that are yet to come.

  • Dag, yo, this MacWorld’s gonna be ill!
  • Count the days. Count the minutes. Count your money because you’re gonna be spending a butt load of it after MacWorld.
  • Beyond the rumor sites. Way beyond. Well, except that whole “PDA” thing. And, no, it’s not a tablet Mac. But besides that, way beyond.
  • It’s like a backstage pass to the future. Which is almost like a backstage pass to a Britney Spears concert. That girl is stacked!
  • Dell sucks.
  • Watch the keynote in streaming QuickTime. And have a box a kleenex nearby.
  • Tomorrow’s the keynote, but we’re not quite ready yet. Maybe this summer…

January 7 will either change the face of computing or piss of more people than any other technology company in the history of… technology companies. Stay tuned to MacComedy for the latest coverage. (note: as always, “latest” on MacComedy may mean “two months from now”)

This Friday I took the bait and arrived at an Apple store at 2:30am for the free Final Cut Studio. I had my daughter and her friend loaded in the mini van and we were all excited. We had blankets and a dvd player in anticipation of the long lines. We arrrived and the Apple store was closed! The security guard said they won’t be here until 6am. We went back around 10am and the people at the Apple store said this is junk. I feel sick and violated by this teasing. I tryed to confirm it with the Apple store the day before but the phone just rang and rang. I finally was able to leave a message twice but not return call. This is not the upstanding service or marketing I have come to reply upon for so many years. I hope and pray Steve Jobs was not part of this sham and diseption of consumers.

Hahaha! That’s hilarious! Although I think you may be posting a comment to the wrong story… :) Because responding to this one would make more sense:
