MacComedy returns after three year hiatus

Infamous (unfamous?) Apple humor site MacComedy posted its first new article in three years on Wednesday.
Titled “Lighter MacBook Air to be made out of hydrogen”, the hilarious new article pokes fun at current rumors going around about a new enclosure for the MacBook Air.
Site creator Jeremy Borger decided to bring the site back after becoming unemployed.
“There’s not a lot of job openings out there right now for horseshoe salesmen due to the increased popularity of cars,” Jeremy said. “I decided to dust off the old keyboard and take another stab at following my dream: selling crack cocaine to kids over the Internet. But when that didn’t work out, I figured writing a fictional Mac news blog was the next best thing.”
Currently, the new, WordPress-based MacComedy site only has articles, unlike the old site, which featured pictures and videos as well.
“I don’t really want to repost content that other people have made,” said Jeremy. “If we do videos or pictures in the future, I want to make sure they’re original to MacComedy. But if I can find a way to profit from stealing other people’s work in the future, I’ll probably do it.”
Jeremy said there will now be a new article on MacComedy “at least once a week” unless he gets too drunk.
“We have a lot of catching up to do,” he said. “A lot has happened in the Apple community over the past three years: the iPhone. Ummm. Newer iPods. I think some other stuff, too. I haven’t really been paying attention.”
